On June 27 - 29, 2024, Miss Premarin Inmontian, a Master degree student in the field of Medical Technology (International Program) at the Faculty of Medical Technology, Chiang Mai University, with Assistant Professor Dr. Wuttichai Khamduang as her advisor, at the international academic conference “The 14th International Public Health Conference among Greater Mekong Sub-regional Countries.” The conference is theme was "Meeting the Sustainable Development Goals through Improved Nutrition, Health Equity, and Climate Change Adaptation" and was held at Pullman Luang Prabang Hotel, Luang Prabang, Lao People is Democratic Republic.
On June 21, 2024, representatives of the LUCENT International collaboration team participated in the Quality Day activity of the Faculty of Medical Technology Chiang Mai University and presented work in the field of innovation. The topic "Treasury Materials Management" won first place and received the opportunity to present at the university level.
On June 20, 2024, the LUCENT International collaboration team traveled to the Omkoi District Public Health Office to discuss guidelines for the second field visit of the research project "Survey of viruses that are transmitted between humans and animals in wild animals and those who come into contact with wild animals in Chiang Mai Province" with Mr. Chairat Ruangrit(Public Health Assistant, Omkoi District). During this trip, the research team received advice and was informed of various problems and obstacles to adjust the guidelines for the second visit to make it go smoothly.
On May 8-10, 2024, researchers from the Faculty of Medical Technology, together with the researchers from the Research Institute for Health Sciences (RIHES), Faculty of Medicine, and LUCENT international collaboration, Chiang Mai University, collected samples and data for the second visit at Thung Satok Subdistrict, Ban Mae Subdistrict, and Mae Ka Subdistrict, San Patong District, Chiang Mai Province.
